Hi, I’m Dene — the heart behind The Good Plant. I’m 33 years old, mom to two amazing kids (a 7-year-old girl and a 5-year-old boy), and a landscaper & architect by trade. Life has always drawn me toward creating, nurturing, and finding beauty in the natural world.
My passion for all things natural deepened when I discovered doTERRA essential oils and began exploring healthier ways to support my family’s wellbeing. I quickly realised how powerful simple, natural ingredients can be — and how much better it feels to live in a home filled with safe, non-toxic alternatives.
That’s where The Good Plant began. It started as a way to create natural products my family could trust, and has grown into a space where I share that same goodness with others. Every balm, blend, or skincare item I make is rooted in my belief that nature provides everything we need to care for ourselves and our homes.
